Delete your account
You can delete your Cricket Lovers account at any time from inside the app. Deletion takes 30 days to become permanent, and you can cancel it during that time by signing in again.
Delete from inside the app
The fastest way. Takes under a minute.
- Open Cricket Lovers and sign in with your registered mobile number.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap on the menu icon.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when prompted. You are signed out straight away and your account enters the 30-day deletion window.
Request deletion by email
Use this if you can no longer sign in. Email us from any address and include the mobile number registered to the account so we can identify it.

We may contact you on that number to confirm the request. The same 30-day window applies from the date we action it.
What is deleted
Removed permanently once the 30 days have passed. This cannot be undone.

What is kept
Some data remains after deletion, as described below.
| Data | Why and for how long |
|---|---|
| Match and tournament scorecards | Kept so other players' scores stay complete. Your name and photo are removed and replaced with "Deleted user". |
| Server and security logs | Kept up to 90 days for fraud and abuse prevention, then deleted. |
| Records required by law | Kept only where a legal obligation applies, and for no longer than that obligation requires. |
| Chat messages | Kept so the other participant's conversation stays readable. Chat messages are not removed when an account is deleted. |
Signing up again later
Once the 30 days have passed, your mobile number is released completely. If you sign up again with the same number you start as a new user with a fresh account. None of your previous data is carried over or recoverable.
